Operation Hope of Florida is the outreach arm of Lighthouse Gospel Mission, carrying forward a Biblical principle to meet the needs of the people. The vision of Operation Hope is to not only meet basic needs, but having a lasting and powerful impact on the entire community through key partnerships and volunteer networks.

HOLIDAYS OF HOPE

Every year we hold our annual Thanksgiving of Hope and Christmas of Hope, free family-oriented events open to the community. We adhere to children with games and prizes, presents at Christmas of Hope, and much more. We serve every family a hot meal, and send them home with a full food basket with all the trimmings at each outreach.

OPERATION BLESSING

The Lighthouse Gospel Mission and Operation Hope of Florida is a food distribution point for other ministries in the Tampa Bay area and have partnered with Operation Blessing of Virginia Beach, VA. Once a month, an Operation Blessing 18-wheeler truck offloads 35,000 pounds of wholesome food and basic hygiene products, which are then distributed to local ministries who come to pick up the food, using it to give to needy families in their respective areas.

NURSING HOME & JAIL MINISTRY

**These ministries are temporarily on hold due to current restrictions.**

Once a month, our volunteer ministers visit Nursing Homes in the local area, bringing comfort, friendship and love to elderly patients and residents, and we spread the power of the Gospel through the Jail & Prison Ministry, to share with incarcerated men and women the purpose behind trials, and the ways to gain the momentum necessary to emerge victoriously through Jesus Christ! There is always hope!
